Abstract

Esta pesquisa relata o trabalho desenvolvido durante quatro meses, com três alunos portadores de Paralisia Cerebral (PC) espástica, frequentadores da "Escola de Educação Especial Sinhara Vianna" - APAE de Palmas-Pr, na qual recebem atendimento especializado. Teve como objetivos específicos: caracterizar a prática da Educação Física Adaptada (EFA) para deficientes físicos; observar as mudanças acontecidas na amplitude articular (ADM) dos educandos bem como a auto-estima; adequar técnicas esportivas lúdicas para as necessidades específicas de portadores de deficiência física, propondo assim alternativas que possam auxiliar pais, professores e pessoas interessadas.
