Influência de Áreas Urbanas e Plantações de Cana-de-Açucar sobre a Temperatura na Região Metropolitana de Campina

Abstract


This work analyses the combined influence of the urban heatisland and sugar cane crops over the temperature field in one of the mainurban regions of Sao Paulo state. The results show that the UHIcontributes for higher temperatures over the urban regions, but causeslower ones in the vicinities of these areas. The sugar cane crops also alterthe temperature, but its influence is more significant over the cultivatedareas.
