The process of television production which is based on genres opens at least three major flanks. On the one hand the security to rigidify the interpretation of the programs by repeating and legitimating meanings; on the other hand, the opacity which permeates new formats and genres, denying clarity in the reading contract. Finally, it should be considered that the latter approach may precisely expand the possibilities of semioses by the television spectator.
