Those who cooperate with the capitalist movement need to position themselves better through their values and purposes. Thus, to put itself in the current debate, the cooperative movement must consolidate its own foundations in the recovery of its original vision of the human being. The cooperative movement must concretely express its position in the community. In a context of globalization, the challenges are not only economic but also social. The cooperative is not only an original economic organization, but also humanistic school that must contribute to position the cooperative as a person and as a citizen in a world dominated by human ignorance. The objective of this research is to present a reflection on the cooperative paradigm through a methodological and theoretical approach, thus allowing a better understanding of the values and the cooperative foundations, as well as the socioeconomic contributions of the cooperative movement in the world. This activity may lead to possible modeling of the cooperative paradigm.Downloads
