Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Complete the metadata, requested in the article submission homepage (SEER), with link to the Lattes curriculum.

  • Complete the metadata, requested in the article submission homepage (SEER/OJS), with link to the Lattes curriculum.
  • Observance of the number of words in the abstract and in the text.
  • Presentation of the abstract, keywords, keywords and title in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
  • Original and unpublished contribution, not evaluated for publication by another journal and or book and not in evaluation process. Otherwise, it should be justified in "Comments to the Editor".
  • Typing in the Microsoft Word editor, in Arial font 12.
  • URLs for referrals were reported when needed.
  • The figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document, as attachments.
  • Compliance with the Revista Educação (Sanata Maria. Online) publication policy, following the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, in the section About the Journal.
  • The authorship identification of the work has been removed from the file and the Properties option in Word, thus ensuring the journal's discretion as per the instructions available in Ensuring the Blind Peer Review.

A Seção de Demanda Contínua publica trabalhos inéditos na área de educação, resultantes de pesquisas e práticas educativas refletidas teoricamente.

Review

A Seção de Resenha apresenta uma obra recente, ou relançamento de clássicos no campo da Educação. O autor deverá situar o campo a que a obra pertence, apresentar as principais idéias do autor e uma apreciação crítica, referindo sua contribuição.

Declaration of originality

We declare that all articles present in the journal Educação (UFSM) are originals and were not submitted for publishing on any other publication, as a whole or a fraction.  We also declare that, after being published by Educação (UFSM), a paper will not be submitted to another journal within two years. After this time, our journal transfers the publishing rights to the authors, with a permit granted by the Editorial Council.

We also acknowledge that the originals’ submission to Educação (UFSM) implies on a transference of copyright for physical and digital publishing to the journal. In case of noncompliance, the violator will receive sanctions and penalties predicted by the Brazilian Copyright Protection Law (n. 9610, dated 19/02/98).
