EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL: USO CONSCIENTE DA ENERGIA ELÉTRICA E APLICAÇÃO DE ALTERNATIVAS PARA DIMINUIÇAO DO CONSUMO

Abstract


The consumption of electric energy has been increasing with the approach of clean technologiesand the unconcerned waste from industry and population. This paper had the purpose ofspreading the information about the damage that the uncontrolled use of electric energy maycause and to diffuse suggestions about controlling the spend of energy for students, their familiesand to the community. The public aimed was a class of 21 students of the 8th grade of theElementary Education from the Escola Luterana São Mateus – Sapiranga. Education actions weredeveloped were it was tested, through a questionary, the initial knowledge of the students and, inthe end, what they have learned and which habits were changed. Activities accomplished such asresearches, debates, maquetas, maps, presentations, experiments, confection of sticking plastersand the studying of the energy bill took the a expressive learning. More important than knowinghow to judge the characteristics, the production and transmission of the electric energy is beingable to perceive that the theme was spreaded for a whole scholar community. The EnvironmentEducation, worked in school, get ahead the walls of the education establishments and reachesmany other people through teachers and students. This is one of the means by which the society change its habits, take new attitudes that collaborate in the reduction of the environment impactand cooperate for the preservation of the natural resources.
