PIBID, Technologies and Philosophy Teaching: the creation of an online magazine as a pedagogical resource in the context of Remote Teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

This paper presents a reflection on an experience in the Programa Institucional de Iniciação à Docência (Institutional Teaching Initiation Program) – PIBID -  that took place between August 2021 and January 2022 at the Professora Maria Rocha State High School, located in the city of Santa Maria/RS. The pedagogical proposal by the school's scholarship holders, the creation of an online magazine entitled “Penso, logo revisto” (I think, therefore I review) was developed, which integrated the discipline of Philosophy into the school context during the remote learning period experienced by students throughout the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. The magazine aimed to promote integration between students, the school, and Philosophy by proposing an alternative learning activity. This paper explores important aspects that relate the objectives of PIBID to practical activities in a specific context, in order to reflect on the period and the program itself. Ultimately, we hope that this article will inspire teachers and future teachers to create and recreate possibilities for teaching and learning Philosophy.
