Abstract

The main objective of this article was to historicize the practice of scientific popularization. By using the theoretical foundation of Discourse Analysis, we analyzed different texts. In the beating between theory and analysis, we came up with the notion of demand discourse. This discourse seemed to justify the discourse of scientific popularization, indeed it built a demand of receiving information on the progress of science.
