Abstract

This article is the third part of the research on the subject of the relationship among memory, literature and power. It is related to the cultures of the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile and Bolivia). It privileges the socio-cultural analysis to address literatures fictionally representing State terror and apocalyptic tone as one of the Central devices of authoritarian power. It also considers that the black novel as a genre unsettles watertight boundaries since it is possible to observe that an urban genre can also emerge in the Amerindian placenta as the Bolivian culture.
