Abstract

This paper aims to analyse the origins of the archetypal figures of the trickster and clown at its insertion in the literature. Therefore, we date back to the Roman de Renart and its inclusion in the popular tradition of the Middle Ages, the historical treatment of the fox in folklore and literary culture, through its development in fabliaux and the figure of the trickster, according to Bakhtin the organizing element of the disorder, when denouncing the conventionality of human relationship.
