Strauss y la politicidad de la filosofía

El presente artículo se propone interrogar el modo en que Strauss piensa la cuestión de la relación de la politicidad de la filosofía, o, dicho en otros términos, del problema de la relación de la filosofía con la ciudad. Para llevar adelante este propósito, se tomará como punto de partida la presentación que hace Strauss de lo que podemos llamar la “invención” de la filosofía política en “Derecho natural e historia”, luego se analizará el modo en que Strauss lee este problema en el que puede considerarse el texto fundamental de esa tradición: La República de Platón. Para concluir, se sugerirán algunas reflexiones acerca de la politicidad de la filosofía tal como es comprendida por Strauss.
