Abstract

This text does not exactly follow a linear discourse. It features an exhibition rhizomatic starting from original question: The landscape can constitutes an "other" in the process of formation of identities? From this question, we focused on the landscape look to geographers to feel the stares of others. Just highlight the shifting conceptions of culture as factors leading to that motion. Also call attention to three elements to be addressed in methodological constructions aimed at enhancing the looks of the agents with the landscapes, these are: the games of scales, time frames, memories, experiences and multilocations. Finally we return to the initial question in the context of a proposition theme. In that, landscapes taken as a set of imagery and discursive can configure the looks, identities
