In this article, we propose to discuss the presence of daily life in the books A duração do dia, by Adélia Prado, writer from Minas Gerais, and O búzio de Cós e outros poemas , by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, portuguese poet, having been selected for discussion the poems "A imagem semelhante" and "A activista cultural ". The elements of everyday life in the poems will be backed by the ideas of Agnes Heller, in Everyday life, for her everyday life is heterogeneous, hierarchical and impregnated with values every moment of life, and everyday life resides in the particular forms of people live, think and act in the world. Also the comments of the mentioned poems will be based on the thought of Henri Lefebvre, in Everyday life in the modern world, in which the author speaks the dichotomies of the daily life that can conserve balance or disequilibrium, it discusses its cyclical character and it emphasizes that the daily corresponds to the possibility to transform the way of life is a result of other demands or claims of people. This article corresponds to part of the result of the research project with name "Imagens do sagrado na poesia de Adélia Prado e de Sophia Andresen- estudo comparado", we demonstrate the presence of the sacred in various actions of everyday life. The mentioned project is registered in no Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Literaturas de Língua Portuguesa – GEPELIP, in the research line Poetry in Portuguese Language, by Universidade Federal do Amazonas – UFAM; it is funded by Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Amazonas – FAPEAM.Downloads
