Russian-Ukrainian narrative war: reflections on media literacy

The article addresses the narrative of wars fought between Russia and Ukraine in the war that began on February 24, 2022, thus, it sought to answer the following question: What are the real intentions of the Russians and Ukrainians to promote a (dis)information war on the social networks? The objective is to reflect on the role of the media in the Russian and Ukrainian war. Bibliographic research with a qualitative approach was carried out, through a collection of scientific data and journalistic materials in articles published on the internet. The results point to a construction of versions to justify the use of force and military actions by the countries involved. In this scenario, there is an urgent need for media literacy of the population to awaken critical awareness in the use of media.
