The digital age has been increasingly influencing the way of living, and such, people have inserted different media and behaviours into their daily lives, often and shaped by the logic of digitization. Maps and geographic information are available today globally through the Google Earth tool. The digitization of geographic information causes “meta-navigation”, that is, the movement within a digital space mimics the movement of its representation in the real world. This article defines meta-navigation and analyzes the tools that make the Google Earth interface a favorable environment for immersion and interaction. For this, a dense reading of the Google Earth object is performed, through the analytical lents of the remediation and digitization of culture. It is argued that the interactivity of this digital space connects the movement known in the real space with the navigation in the digital space, which allows its corporeality.Downloads
