This research aims to analyze the sociopolitical production of the black digital activism by observing the use of the application WhatsApp among the “Juventude Negra Kalunga” (Kalunga’s Black Youth), a group composed of black youngsters which has the objective of debating racial relations, by giving emphasis to the practice of the youth empowerment and youth identity. We intend to observe how the group interacts in this cyberspace and what are the developments that this virtual environment creates in the presencial relations and in the construction of debating forums to the practise of the black youth citizenship.
