The contribution of communicative modalities in the context of hypermedia news reporting "The coup and the military dictatorship"

The news reporting is the most complete genre of journalism, where several communicative modalities (text, audio, video, photos, hyperlinks) are used to tell the stories. Because of the importance that the reporting has in journalism, we propose to reflect about this noble space that journalists and media institutions have. Thus, the aim of this article is to analyze how is built the contextualization in the hypermedia reporting "The coup and the military dictatorship", broadcast on the website of the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, identifying the used communicative modalities and how they operate in the construction of contextualization. We consider the unity and integration of the various communicative modalities extends the context of hypermedia reporting.
