O humor e a ironia na comunicação e na cultura

This work is an attempt to better understand the phenomena of humor and laughter in contemporaneity, also its revalorization from the late nineteenth century on, specially after the ideas of Nietzsche e Kierkgaard, showing special attention to the matter of irony. It is intended to approach the issue from both the philosophical and communicative points of view in order to show how they are linked. Apart from the references, Woody Allen’s film-making is used as support to exemplify the work’s main ideas.
