The following text consists in a spanish translation of the conference L'ottimismo trascendentale di Arturo Schopenhauer by philosopher, writer and translator Eva Kühn Amendola (1880-1961). This paper is the fruit of a philosophical seminar on Arthur Schopenhauer for the University of Zurich. Later, in 1904, it was presented at the Theosophical Society of Rome. Giovanni Amendola transcribed it to paper and published it in the Italian journal Coenobium in 1907. In this essay, the author defends a transcendental optimism based on the young German philosopher's concept of “better consciousness”.
