The Arthur Schopenhauer's treatment of philosophy as worldsophy (Weltweisheit) is addressed, which, unlike what has traditionally been argued for, namely, systems of thoughts that stand out for being distinctively (psychocosm)ontotheological, consists of only a single thought. Since Schopenhauer exposes in his philosophy the limitation of these systems and complementarily critically and combatively highlights them, the exposition of the single thought and the criticism of the systems of thoughts are presented as the two sides of the coin of Schopenhauer's commitment to philosophy: the single essentially worldsophical thought as the positive (the obverse) and the criticism of the systems of thoughts that are properly (psychocosmo)ontotheological as the negative (the reverse).
