Starting from an article by Bernard Adamy published in the 1985 Schopenhauer Jahrbuch entitled Schopenhauer Rezeption bei Karl Kraus, this paper aims to highlight the aspects that bring Kraus thought closer to Schopenhauer. In fact, inspired by Schopenhauer's theses on style, with a pungent satire, in his "Die Fackel" Kraus attacks the political and cultural institutions of Habsburg Vienna, denouncing above all the horrors of the First World War and the corruption of the press, and at the same time offers his point of view on style and linguistic theory.Downloads
