This present paper aims to investigate the debate between Nancy Fraser and Axel Honneth from their respective recognition concepts: identity model and model of social status. This article sketches out comparisons and approximations between these authors in relation to the reflective base of each. The aim is to identify the assumptions that led Fraser criticize the classical model and the arguments underlying the Honneth argumentation in favor of the binomial recognition and identity.Downloads
