This work is about production of night photography with pinhole camera. To make these cameras light-tight food tin boxes were used. Their insides were paint of black and a hole was made on the side with adjustable opening. A photosensitivity paper was put inside. Night photographs of Rio Grande city (Brazil, RS) were made with pinholes by the action of light bundle of moving cars and of public illumination that were capable to sensibility the paper inside the camera. Of this way, a picture of night movement of the city from chosen avenue was’ taken. In this process, what we have is the look of object on the street. Since the pinhole camera does not have a viewfinder there is no photographer look, but only the look of object on the things, suggesting that the camera have their own look. The result is inspected photography that show areas lighting with black points that show the true reflect image inside the camera. It is inverted and negative. They show only some light point and the signal left by the moving cars. Ironic is the fact of these images given the idea of day, differently of true reality.Downloads
