<b> Música e Educação Especial: uma possibilidade concreta para promover o desenvolvimento de indivíduos </b>

Abstract

O texto tem por objetivo apresentar algumas idéias relacionadas ao ensino de música em situações em indivíduos com necessidades especiais estejam incluídos. Há diferenças significativas no processo ensino-aprendizagem de música para crianças com necessidades especiais? Temos princípios, olhares, sensações e percepções específicos para esse contexto educacional? Como fica a aula de música? De que maneira nos envolvemos? Essas perguntas, que estiveram presentes em meu pensamento durante alguns anos em que me dediquei ao ensino de música em uma escola de atendimento à crianças com necessidades especiais, norteiam a tentativa de apresentar algumas idéias relacionadas à prática pedagógica com crianças com necessidades educacionais especiais e as possíveis questões sobre diferenças, igualdades, possibilidades, facilidades e dificuldades inerentes a esse ambiente.
