<b> Pedagogia no encontro de tempos: o moderno e o pós-moderno em Paulo Freire a partir de algumas metáforas <b/>
Abstract
O trabalho pretende contribuir para a reflexão sobre o atual momento da teoria educacional, retomando para isso a leitura de Paulo Freire a partir de três imagens ou metáforas presentes em sua obra - a linha, a ruptura e a trama - e que indicam, ao mesmo tempo, a sensibilidade deste educador para novos momentos históricos e o aprofundamento de percepções anteriores. Explora-se especialmente a metáfora da trama, conforme o livro Pedagogia da Esperança, como representando a visão da existência, do contexto e dos saberes. No fim, constatando a relevância desta metáfora no contexto da discussão sobre modernidade e pós-modernidade, são apontadas algumas possibilidades e limitações da mesma.
