School gardens have been used as didactic instrument and educational projects in all regions of the world. For many authors, they are considered one of the best ways to promote experiences and transformations in ecopedagogical terms, as well as to allow the association of different significant curricular contents to the ecology, making possible the progress of sustainable social culture. In this perspective, this work presents a theoretical approach on garden based learning using this method in classroom and also a participant research on teacher education using project based learning model with three teachers from a municipal school in Joinvile-SC. The research was carried through seven meetings with the teachers, and three diagnostic tools: a semi-open questionnaire, pre and post-project with the teachers and a focus group with the students. The experience showed out as results offer the dynamization of contents into garden´s pedagogy within the school curriculum and throughout the process was made a construction of a pedagogic garden with the help of students throughout the process.References
