Objective: to measure the scientific production on caregivers’ health literacy regarding the promotion of children’s health. Method: a bibliometric study associated with Methodi Ordinatio. Search strategies were developed for five national and international databases using descriptors/keywords combined with Boolean operators. Data analysis was performed using three bibliometric laws (Lotka’s, Bradford’s, and Zipf’s laws) and the In Ordinatio equation. Results: among the 722 articles identified, those published in 2021 and 2024 in English predominated. A total of 3,838 authors were identified, with different levels of productivity and collaboration; 341 journals were identified, of which 14 (4.1%) constituted Bradford’s core, accounting for 236 articles (32.7%); 4,541 keywords were cited 22,241 times, of which 28 (0.6%) constituted the trivial zone, accounting for 6,949 citations (31.2%). Methodi Ordinatio was applied to 13 articles. Conclusion: despite the considerable volume of studies on the topic, only a few are considered to have high bibliometric relevance.
