The development of digital skills is one of the challenges nowadays. Thus, based on the case study methodology, we seek to analyze, through a survey, the digital skills of a class of master's students from a federal public institution. The survey was applied at the beginning and end of the Technologies for Education discipline and analyzed according to DigCompEdu Check-In. The data indicate that, although students make ubiquitous use of technologies, they have low fluency in creating, choosing and adapting digital educational resources, indicating the need for initial and postgraduate training courses to provide students with the acquisition of digital skills, whether through subjects or workshops throughout the training path.
