The book Publishing, books and reading in cinema: an editorial look at the big screen, recovers the complex and inextricable relationship between books and cinema, and goes further by presenting and analysing films born directly or indirectly from novels, in which the theme is the book itself, publishing, writing and reading. There are fifteen articles written by Brazilian, Uruguayan and Argentinian researchers, showing that the issues are present in different universities.
