Abstract

This article consists of a paper that aims to analyze the use of music as a teaching tool in class-teaching of geography in this case, more specifically, there will be an approach linking content related to Geography present the lyrics of Luiz Gonzaga, considering all the regions' found in these songs, highlighting characteristic features of the semi-arid, as a way of bringing students in their daily lives, besides reflecting on the importance of environmental education for the preservation of the environment, given the stigma that involve the region in question. For this purpose, we used a literature search and musiográfica. Thus, we seek to awaken in its importance as a teacher trainer of opinion and not as a mere player content. Keywords: Teaching Geography, Semiarid, Music, Luiz Gonzaga.
