Sport and Education Project - Practice and Social Promotion: Experience of welcoming, belonging and integration

This paper aims to report the experience of the integration among students from different undergraduate courses at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, professors and community who participated in the Sport and Education Project: practice and social promotion as scholarship holders. Through experience with the project, it was possible to improve the technical and theoretical knowledge of the extensionists inside and outside their areas of study, to have a more attentive view of the social sphere as professionals and to establish a reference for future projects that focus on sport , in addition to strengthening the link between the beneficiary community and the University.
