Condutometric titration of Ni2+ by complexation with disodium dimethylglyoxime

Abstract

An aqueous solution of 0.01M disodium dimethylglyoxime was prepared and standardized with 0.1 N sulfuric acid (titrisol MERCK) by conductometric titration. Also a solution of 0.001M nickel dichloride was prepared and titrated with titriplex III. Then the nickel dichloride was determined by conductometric titration with the standardized disodium dimethylglyoxime. The difference between the results was 1.6%.
