The title of this edition emphasizes the intertwining of the various themes and subjects included here and intends to indicate to readers the attempt to bring together cultural representations within the scope of the literary productions analyzed and the constructions that provide opportunities for critical interpretations. The notion of the distancing of art as a spirit capable of simplifying and attenuating social conflicts finds – in a critical perspective – the necessary body to feel these questions.
