Literature, music and the testimony of resistance

Abstract

The relationship between resistance and literary studies is sometimes still treated in a conflictive way. A conflict that is not related to the opposition of ideas or even as an opportunity for new visions about society and historical development to be thought, but with a notion that impoverishes the potential of literary criticism by denying it to the field of formal aspects when disregards the thematic issues that guide and support artistic creation. The journal Literatura e Autoritarismo seeks to highlight the approximation between ethical and aesthetic aspects, mediated by the bias of a philosophical and scientific thought capable of interacting in these fields that complement each other.
