The representations of memory in A filha of the writer of Gustavo Bernardo

The study aims to analyze the novel, A filha do escritor (2008), of Gustavo Bernardo, from the perspective of the psychic and memorialist studies intertwined in the fictional context of the work. This approach brings out the representation of memory under a psychic analysis, about some aspects of the neurological disorders because they maintain a direct relationship with the work. The research is surrounded by concepts and representations of memory, which will concretize the importance of this phenomenon as a fundamental element in the constitution of the work. The studies of Terry Eagleton, Aleida Assmann and Alfredo Garcia-Roza, with respect to Freudian theories will be specifically the theoretical basis of our research.
