Abstract

Nihilism is a hermeneutic presupposition of both the epistemology and the metaphysics of will in Schopenhauer's magnum opus. In this article, we intend to examine how nihilism, which is not reduced to the negation of the will, operates the demythologization of man, enlightening him about his existential condition.
