Abstract

The intense transformations that have taken place in International Trade, such as the volatility of the world economy, caused by the action of transnational corporations, and the emergence of political movements outside the framework of territorial states, represented by separatist movements and Non-Governmental Organizations - NGOs, place in check several institutes of classical international law. It was intended to analyze through a bibliographical and documentary research, using the deductive method, the legal consequences in the current panorama of regulation promoted by the WTO based on the participation of NGOs in its decision process, in order to verify if the performance of such non-state actors is able to interfere/relativize/redefine the role of States in International Trade. In order to achieve these objectives, the history of its performance was exposed, as well as its participation in the decision-making process of the WTO.
