There are many ways to fight racism, and all of them can be part of everyone's routine. The review of the book “Pequeno Manual Antirracista” (2019), by Djamila Ribeiro, analyzes the autor’s arguments and recommenda-tions of the author, who believes that the first step to combat racism is self-knowledge and understanding of a process that began in the 16th century. Initially, the author contextualizes the history of the theme and then presents, in a didactic and brief manner, tips and “instructions” to reflect on the issue of racism and take attitu-des that make a difference in the fight against the system of oppression.
