Regularização Migratória: auxílio a imigrantes venezuelanos no sul do Brasil

Abstract

Due to the crisis that took place in Venezuela, Brazil allowed Venezuelans to seek refuge, offering temporary residence and enabling immigrants to insert themselves in society. Thus, Venezuelans need to make some formal requests to the competent bodies in Brazil to regularize their stay in the country. In this sense, the Rondon Project Nucleus of the [Nome excluído em razão do sigilo], in partnership with the Cáritas Diocesana of [Nome excluído em razão do sigilo], proposed to provide assistance to these immigrants, thus facilitating the regularization of many families. Through this partnership, volunteer academics from the Center contribute, helping in the process of regularizing the migration of several Venezuelan families. In 2021, 59 consultations were carried out, with requests for residence permits, refuge and registration changes. Of these, 38 have already obtained their documents and 21 are still waiting to be processed for their issuance. The migration regularization activity carried out by the Rondon Project Nucleus brings hope to Venezuelans so that they can start a new life in our country.
