Production of anatomical models for elementary and high school education: A facilitating tool for the study of human anatomy

Currently, the advancement of educational technologies is transforming the teaching of human anatomy. In this sense, anatomical modeling emerges as a promising alternative, facilitating the three-dimensional understanding of structures. This experience report aims to present the development of activities, as well as the results obtained, from an extension project carried out between the years 2022 and 2023 that produced anatomical pieces for schools in the city of Garanhuns-PE, addressing a shortage of anatomical materials. The results were positive, with the directors and teachers of the benefiting schools acknowledging the value of these resources for the teaching of sciences and biology. Thereby, the project met educational demands, offering a modern and effective approach to the study of human anatomy, positively impacting student learning.
