Two species of Pines (Pinus elliottii and Pinus teada) were utilized for the present study. Regression equations were ajusted in function of moisture content and shrinkage values in theree different grain angles (30º, 45º and 90º). High correlation coefficients were found between shrinkage and moisture content from P. S. F. to 0% on the different grain angles. The adjusted equations can be used for the estimatimation of shrinkage (radial e tangential) for similar situations.
