Abstract

The work describe the study of a phenolic resin behaviour, using Differencial Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) in variation of function of the Hexametilenetetramine content (Hexa), industrially used as a cure reaction accelerator. The cure exoterms were obtained from the corresponding scannings and also calculated the transition rate and the reaction entalpies, relating it with the percentage of Hexa in the sample, changing from 1 to 20%.
