Abstract

The scientific journalism attends social demands with priority, expliciting in current and simple terms the discoverys from scientific area and also articulates the relations between specific discourses. This study aims to determine the linguistic translations between the scientific discourse and the popularization of science discourse showed by reportings about science and technology in the press.

Bachelor in Journalism and master's student in Rural Extension at UFSM, research line of Social and Technological Innovation Processes.

Adair Peruzzolo

PhD in Communication and Culture from UFRJ, with a post-doctorate at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and full professor at the Faculty of Social Communication at UFSM.
