JANJA AND MICHELE: THE SYMBOLIC DISPUTE OF THE FIRST LADIES

This empirical study evaluates the emotional framing of titles and journalistic articles of Janja and Michele Bolsonaro. It also evaluates the symbolic dispute that these two first ladies wage through the media. The results of the discourse analyze show that there is no winner. The result is the teaching that Lula and Jair Bolsonaro’ s wives are relevant symbolic vectors to the causes of their parties, the PT and PL.
