Abstract

This essay starts from a reading of some pages of L’Entretien infini (1969) entitled L’Indestructible. In them we can find a brief reference to the term 'community' (communauté anonyme), which allowed us to refer it to the work La communauté inavouable (1983). Our objective is, therefore, based on a reflection that could be that of the experience of concentration camps and power relations, to observe how the thought of power – the machine of the functioning of the possible – from whose rutting escapes non-power – that belongs to the outside –, of domination, of the dialectic of master and slave dissolve in reflecting on the community of absence and the absence of community.
