Abstract

The article deals with the understanding of Theodor Adorno on the poetry of Hölderlin emphasizing the concept of "parataxis". The understanding of parataxis will show why the language of poetry is distinct from discursive language. Also examine the criticisms of Adorno on the interpretation of Heideggerian poetry of Hölderlin. The objective of this analysis is to clarify the position of Adorno.
