Abstract

Based on readings and discussions about the literature, as well as on the concepts of dialectical image and experience in Walter Benjamin’s theoretical production, within the sphere of biographical criticism, the present article will address the writing of the self, and the positioning of the subject between the self-report and its fabled transformation in the face of family memories. It is directly interested in reflecting on how the term autofiction, an imported product, has gained written and aesthetic paths in contemporary Brazilian literature, especially in family photography works. The work that will serve as an approximation is A resistência (2015), by the writer from São Paulo Julián Fuks.
