This paper aims to contribute to the understanding of the production of a consensus between the military and civilians about the government program of the last dictatorship in the Argentina of the years 1976 to 1983, focusing on the study of knowledge and activities development and disseminated about defense from a specific state agency: the Escuela Nacional de Defensa. To achieve this objective, on the one hand, we analysis of the institutional information, subjects of articles and papers published in the Revista de la Escuela Nacional de Defensa. On the other hand, to identify the professional profiles and institutional inscriptions of the authors of articles published in the Journal. Finally, we will present the content and audiences of the courses and lectures delivered at the headquarters of the school in the city of Buenos Aires and in different localities in the interior of the country. We argue the military’s authorities of the Escuela Nacional de Defensa proposed, through its review and courses and conferences develop a policy of systematic relationship with authorities, teachers and students of national universities and private universities, entrepreneurs, provincial and municipal authorities, and other civilian citizens, in order to establish a consensus surrounding the policy of the Proceso de Reorganización Nacional and form a ruling elite committed to it.Downloads
