Quality of work life and collaborator engagement: An analysis in a health care assistance cooperative

The pursuit of improving the well being of employees in organizations boosts studies on the quality of work life, so this study aimed to evaluate the quality of life and engagement at work of the employees of the administrative offices of a health care cooperative. For this, realized a descriptive research quantitative, with 35 employees in the administrative sector of health care cooperative. The questionnaire was based on the model Walton (1973) to analyze the quality of working life, and the model of Salanova, Agut and Peiró (2005), to evaluate the engagement at work. Data analysis indicated that, in general, workers are satisfied with their life quality in work and they are very engaged in the work. In addition, when observing the function performed in the organization, variable workers’ profile, it was verified that this influences the perception of employees in relation to fatigue, mental resistance and commitment of colleagues.Downloads
