Evaluation of online course in permanent education on maternal breast feeding for nurses

Aim: to evaluate an online course for nurses, using the Moodle Platform in permanent education about maternal breastfeeding. Method: quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional research, with 54 nurses. The data were collected by means of a characterization questionnaire and the Moodle Platform Constructivist On-Line Learning Environment Survey (COLLES) and submitted to descriptive statistical analysis. Results: female majority, mean age of 33 years of age and mean duration of seven years. Regarding the COLLES Survey, 64.81% answered that they often focus on interesting subjects; 66.67% often reflect on their own learning and 48.15% said that sometimes colleagues appreciate their contributions. Conclusion: the Moodle Platform contributes to the permanent education of nurses, enabling the expansion of knowledge and the exchange of experiences.Downloads
